I'm not sure if this fits, but harsh is aspero (with accent mark on teh a) or ronco. (according to my dictionary). I'm not sure which one is right.

I'd say "áspero" or "duro" would be good options. Any native speakers want to opine?

I'll go with "El hablaba ásperamente" , like Tomisimo says, but I need the context in order to say "áspero", "duro" or "ronco"
For example, "Dr House spoke harsly" it's "El Dr House habló duramente" or "El Dr House habló ásperamente"
