Mogollón

I have heard ‘mogollón’ used a lot in Spain. Is it correctly used below:
• Juan, en serio, lo siento mogollón.

Many thanks in advance.

Sounds good, though in my country we'd use "un montón" or "un tocazo"

Thanks so much!

You're welcome!

Mogollón besides meaning heaps, lots, it also means sort of a quarrel, mess, confusion, scandal, any conflictive situation that is loud and dynamic.

So mogollón can mean a big stink in North American English.

I m Spanish and lo siento mogollòn souds very vulgar. Mogollón is very colloqial and I don t see it collocated with lo siento.
