Bajo la impresión

Hi everyone

Is there any difference between saying "Bajo la impresión que" and "Bajo la impresión de que"?

I've seen examples of both being used, such as in the following examples:

When is one required over the other? Or can they be used interchangeably?

Thanks

It may be a regional thing to drop the preposition 'de'. I believe it's more common to include it.

Cheers. Thanks

I agree with Rusty.
"De que" is better; the people who say "que" are afraid of "dequeísmo", but they end up often stumbling on "queísmo". ;(

There you have it!
