Pronunciation of "Odisea" and "Panacea"
I was told that the word “odisea” is pronounced as o / di / SE / a in all countries, but that the word “panacea” is pronounced as pa / NA / ce / a in Mexico, but as pa / na / CE / a in Spain and Argentina. Does anyone know if that is true?

I have heard panácea in deep country language (as if it's in isolated spots in the Appalachians), in Argentina, to refer to concoctions in folk medicine. But as the solution for all problems the term is panacea as in panacea universal.

Pa·na·CE·a in Mexico. My old teachers would have said "panácea" was a "barbarismo".
