Introductory Spanish E-books with translations

Hi,

Does anyone know a link to some simple start-up Spanish E-Books, where you can hover over the text with the mouse and get the english translation easily?

Alternatively, where the english and spanish texts are shown side-by-side?

Thanks!

I don't know of an e-book, or a parallel text, but just about the easiest book to read is The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier. The paperback translation into Spanish is (as far as I can see) word-for-word, and I read both books side by side (which is awkward because the pages don't coincide). But the text is an account by an uneducated girl, and so is simple to understand, and quite interesting.

Tomisimo: I can only say that you are a pathetic idiot. I have just started to learn Spanish and have completed level A1 and soon A2 with Busuu.com, so I just wanted to get some additional learning material. I have never met such a hostility and stupidity in my entire life.

mlun, you should be more polite. I you don't agree with him, it's enough to say that you didn't mean that. You needn't be so rude with Tomísimo. We all are very grateful to him for this forum.

Grateful! What the hell is this all about. I come here as a new user of the forum, and is being attacked and accused of being a spammer by this pathetic idiot. Maybe you are grateful for having this creep on board, but I, and probably more potential users, will immediately dump a forum with such hostility.
I will maintain what I wrote in my first post, and go somewhere else where this idiot hopefully is not posting.

Just calm down and be told that your first post was in the style of spammer, and an administrator can be forgiven for assuming that. It is polite and normal to introduce yourself with a couple of other posts before asking such a specific question, so that you are not identifed as spam. Why don't you start again? :)

It is impolite and not in line with any rules to judge someone alone based on your private mental disturbed fantasies. If this guy really is an administrator, he could have tried to get his suspicion verified in other ways, and wait until there was really basis for it.
Rather than trying to teach me how to behave, please direct your fire against the only culprit here!
