Conseguir, alcanzar, tener exito, llegar, lograr..?
Conseguir, alcanzar, tener exito, llegar, lograr....
¿Me parece que todos quieren decir 'to succeed in/at' o 'to achieve' de una manera ?  ¿Hay una diferencia en el uso de estos verbos? |
Quote:
conseguir=to obtain, to reach (by telephone) alcanzar=to reach an object, to pass something to someone at the table or from a shelf tener éxito=to succeed at something llegar= Did you mean "llegar a tener?" = acquire lograr = to acheive or accomplish, as in "what are your accomplishments or successes? Hope this helps a little. |

Yes, they can mean the same. It can depend on the circunstance but generally yes. (I'm trying to find an example where I can not use one, but in all, using them correctly(sometimes adding another verb), I can make the sentence correct and with the same meaning) Juntos, consiguieron el ansiado trono. Juntos, alcanzaron el ansiado trono. Juntos, llegaron al ansiado trono. Juntos, tuvieron exito en () el trono. (there you can use conseguir, alcanzar, llegar al) Juntos, lograron () el trono. (there you can use conseguir/alcanzar/llegar al) Together, they obtain the yearn/expected throne. |
¡Entiendo! :)
¡Muchas gracias Marsopa y ookami! :) :rose: |
