¿Cómo lo dirías: "Compré un coche que tú me recomendaste" o "Compré el coche que tú me recomendaste"?
Quizá sea correcta la construcción con el "un", pero, me suena raro. :)

Surely it depends whether 'you' recommended more than one car? If several were recommended, then 'I' bought one (un) of them, but if 'you' recommended only one, and 'I' bought it, then it would have to be el. :thinking:

In that case, wouldn´t it better to say, "Compré uno de los coches que tú me recomendaste."

Yes.......if more than one was recommended.

I would say.......
Compré el coche que tú me recomendaste.
If he/she recommended a certain vehicle, not a certain model.
Compré el modelo de coche que tú me recomendaste.
If he/she recommended an Audi -vs- Mercedes -vs- Porche, etc. etc

I think that in simple phrase it should be so written.
