Sacarlo

Hi everyone

I'm trying to say "take it out" in the context of taking a scene out of a screenplay. I translated it as "eliminarlo" while Google translates it as "sacarlo".

Most the examples I've seen for "sacarlo" refer to physical objects. http://context.reverso.net/traduccio...it+out#sacarlo

Is it correct to use "sacarlo" in reference to something intangible?

Thanks

Yes.

Sacar and eliminar both work fine. Another common option would be "quitar".
