Desgaste

To say desgaste in English is wear and tear. How do I use it?
Physical wear and tear for desgaste fĂsico
Phycological or emotional wear and tear
Knee wear and tear
bone wear and tear desgaste de huesos.
the couch wear and tear.
the normal wear and tear of an apartment
etc...

All your examples work, but I should mention that 'wear and tear' means physical degradation. Using 'wear and tear' with psychological or emotional degradation is metaphorical usage.

We say 'wear and tear of/in the knee/bone' in addition to 'knee/bone wear and tear'.

The 'normal wear and tear' phrase probably came from contracts, where consumers were being told they will incur a fee for degradation that goes beyond the expected level.

Robindesbois, you can also just use "wear" instead of "wear and tear".
