Quizá + subjunctive
Must we always use a subjunctive with ‘quizá(s)’ and ‘tal vez’ or can we simply use the future tense?
Maybe I won’t have money tomorrow: • Quizás no tendré dinero mañana. (tenga) Maybe I will use the gym today. • Tal vez usaré el gimnasio hoy. (use) |
Future tense doesn't sound natural to me. In both cases I prefer the present subjunctive. :thinking:

I think these expressions are always listed in grammar books as typical triggers of subjunctive. :) |
