I'm new to the mix

I was watching an interview with a phychic called Florence King and she used some expressions that I understood by context, but couldnt find anywhere.
CAn anybody tell me what they exactly mean and if they really exist?
I, m new to the mix ( she was talking about not having a lot of expertize)
I put all the dots together
All kicked in for me
Fly gods grann
and I tap in
the other ones I could find them in a dictionary.

I'm new to the mix is quite common, and not having a lot of expertise is a good definition of it.

To put all the dots together is also a common term, and it means to draw a conclusion from evidence.

It all kicked in for me means to suddenly come to the correct conclusion.

I've never heard fly gods grann before

To tap in on means to decipher.

i Think it is very colloquial language, right?

You can call it colloquial, but it is also polite English, and none of the ones I explained have a low register.

They are all idiomatic expressions, so would be less tolerated (even disapproved of by some) in formal writing.
All are commonly used in colloquial (informal, ordinary/common/familiar, conversational) speech.
