CAn anybody say wheter this is correct or not?

When I speak my ears resound, and this is very annoying.

When I speak my ears ring, and it's very annoying.

("this is" está bien, pero me parece un poco formal).

Is resound OK?

I would say that a noise resounds but that ears don't.

I've heard.......

Me retumban los oidos con solo escuchar esa voz.......

said in a not very nice way.... probably meaning.....I hate to hear her/his voice.

That's often said when a woman has a very piercing voice.
