En los tiempos que corremos,

How can I tranlate this into English?

On one site I found it translated as:

in these dreadful times

Is it correct that it has a somewhat negative connotation? :)

More neutral might be:

These days
Nowadays

More literally "in current times" would also fit.;):)

I believe there is a curse in China:

"May you live in interesting times!"
