I'm starting an on-line course about Jane Austen today and I'm really excited. I know liking her is a bit of a cliché but I think she's wonderful as do lots of fans all over the world. Any austenites out there?:love::love:

I'm ashamed to say I didn't know who Jane Austen was until googling it. That is the right Jane Austen right?

Yeah, that's the one.:) Haven't you seen the Hollywood adaptation of Sense and Sensibility with Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson? Or Emma starring Gwyneth Paltrow ?

No, I haven't, but then again, there are lots of movies I haven't seen.

And "Pride and Prejudice", a BBC series with Colin FLirth or the movie with Keyra Kingthley.
Jane is a must!! :D

And so is Colin Firth in the wet shirt coming out of the lake. It's become a myth in England: there isn't a single girl who isn't in love with him in that scene (me included).:):):)

Leí Northanger Abby hace años y me gustaba mucho.
