Sentence in Spanish that I don't understand from Destinos
It's from the Spanish show Destinos
"Y dígale a don Fernando que le mando mis mejores deseos" --- And tell mister Fernando that (mando can be so many things! It can bemandate, order, command; direct, instruct; draft; dictate; delegate; send, post; ordain) my great desires.... --- Yea...can anyone explain this phrase this me? |
Tell Don Fernando that I send him my best regards.
I did not translate the Don word because an equivalent doesn't quite exist. Don adds a level of respect, and usually used in reference to someone older. |

"Regards" was fine, also are "compliments" and "wishes". :)
