translate please

Hola todos, I want to make a sign for English classes for Spanish speakers that I would teach coming up in the new year. I want the sign to be perfect so I would like your translation of my text below:

want to learn English? Free classes for native Spanish speakers starting in January. If you are interested call _______ at ________. Classes will be one hour long from ____ to _____ PM on Thursday nights. The curriculum used will be english sin barreras. Classes will be held at ______ . We need at least two people to hold the class. Call as soon as possible.

something to that affect anyway.
gracias

Re: translate please

I will say something like.......

¿Quieres aprender inglés? Clases gratis para españoles nativos.
Si estás interesado, llama a HALOE BOY al teléfono 6666666.
Las clases serán los jueves por la tarde/noche y durarán una hora, de 19.00 a 20.00.
Tendrán lugar en la escuela pública/SMITH's PUB y se usará el libro "english sin barreras".
Minimo dos personas para que el curso tenga lugar.
¡Llama tan pronto como puedas!

But I prefer giving my number at the end, something like
¡¡¡¡Llama tan pronto como puedas al teléfono 6666666 y pregunta por HALOE BOY !!!!
and make the first an the last sentences bigger.
With tarde usually till 20.00 noche later

Re: translate please

I agree with what sosia's written, but I have a few changes I'd make. Mostly personal preference.

"españoles nativos" to me that sounds like "native Spainards" as opposed to "native Spanish speakers". I'd say "para los de habla española/hispana" "para hablantes nativos de español"

se usará el libro "english sin barreras" I'd say "y se usará el curso inglés sin barreras" o "y se usará el material inglés sin barreras" since as far as I know it's more than just a book. In México it's called "inglés sin barreras".

Aparte de esos detalles, todo lo que dice sosia está perfectamente bien.

Re: translate please

It's better the way tomisimo says for the spanish speakers. I made a quick literal translation, its better to make it as general as possible, can lead to misundestandings, like Tomisimo says.

I prefer saying "el libro" because usually you only buy a book. You don't buy the casettes, videotapes or exercise books for a class a week. If you says it full (se usará el material inglés sin barreras), then perhaps the people think they have to buy a lot of things and they retreat.

For full case we usually say "se seguirán los materiales del curso "inglés sin barreras" ", but the options given by tomisimo are all good.
