Hello Everybody,

So my name is Ryan and I am 24 years old. I have zero background in Spanish and can understand very little to almost nothing. I recently as of February and March of 2017 I traveled to The Dominican Republic and Cuba for a week each and have taking a loving to the language, and since then have tried to become fluent in speaking it!

I feel once I can have basic conversations that it will be much easier for me to learn how to read and write.

I will be looking for people to connect with and communicate with to build on the language.

I will be taking a second trip to the Dominican in March and want to be able to communicate

Unfortunately not, there are no Spanish classes/ groups in my area.. So I have been doing some research on different computer software learn-aids, and also discovered this forum! but for the most part I have resorted to YouTube instructionals.

Any suggestions?
