Pronouns - direct and indirect objects

Hi I have two sentences, one affirmative, one negative regarding pronouns that are confusing me totally can anyone help.

The question for the first one is:

1. Le has dicho a Roberto la verdad?

The affirmative answer we have been given using pronouns is

1. Si ya se lo he dicho.

In the negative the question is the same:

2. Le has dicho a Roberto la verdad?

The negative answer we have been given is

2. No voy a decirsela

Can anyone explain why the direct object pronoun changes from a "lo" to a "la" between the affirmative sentence and negative sentence.

We have another sentence with the same problem.

Welcome to the forums!

You've discovered an error! There should be no change.

I suppose you know which direct object pronoun is correct. ;)

By the way, there's an 'Accents' drop-down menu just above where you type. Use it to insert all the special characters you need. Below are some examples where proper punctuation and spelling were needed in your post.

¿Le has dicho a Roberto la verdad?
Sí, ya ...
No, no voy a decírsela.

Para mí la respuesta negativa es "No, no se la he dicho" o "No y no se la diré" o "no, y no voy a decírsela"
