Invitation

Hi

I have the following sentence, which I am told means inviting a person to a place:

However, what is the exact meaning in English? Is the person inviting a girl or a boy?

Thanks in advance.

Where are you or where is the person talking from?

The person who wrote the sentence is in Berlin, he writes to his friend who lives in Paris (which he visited earlier this year).

"Viejo(a)" might be a way of talking about one's parents.
