For other english speakers:
Reunión de pastores, oveja muerta (gathering of shepherds/sheepmen, dead sheep ) origin: When the shepherds gather to speak, usually they kill a sheep to cook him after speaking meaning:it means when important people is gathered (for example in a meeting) usually low-level people (workers) will suffer in the future other meaning: If you're near/in a gathering of important people at the end you will have to make a task you don't want because of your level, try to avoid them. Hope it helps to find a proper saying. saludos :D |

I believe there is other less common interpretation, something on the order that, "when the shepherds get together, it is because something extraordinary, or something bad has already happenned". You could go with a literal translation, "Shepherds meeting, dead sheep" which to some degree would be self-explanatory... particularly, if used in the proper context... |
