Crack
ES UN CRACK.
When somebody is very good at something or almost everything we say he is un crack, what the equivalente in English? He ´s a cracker He is on fire. |
He's an ace.
He's the man. He's on his game. (He's on fire.) He owns this. Like a boss! He's a wiz. He's a genius. There are others. |
Crack is sometimes used as an adjective to mean exceptional just like it is used in Spanish. I don't use it, because, as an adjective, it has other meanings in English, and some of those meanings are quite negative referring to cocaine induced psychosis.

In American English, crack only means superior if it is used as an adjective. He is a crack craftsman, for example. Calling someone a crack would be confusing.
