Get off the bleeping road!
Hi. Nice to have found this place. I'm a writer with a scene set in Acapulco. There's a couple running down the middle of the road and someone shouts something like:
"Get off the f*ck*ng road!" Could someone translate it to Spanish for me? Thanks! |

Anyway, most of the times that in an English novel or movie appears the English expression ****ing whatever..., it's translated into Spanish by jodido lo que sea. I don't think this is a good translation, as we don't use jodido as much as you use ****ing, and we often use it in very different contexts. On the other hand, the adjective puto/a is as common in frequency and suitable in contexts as the English ****ing. |
I would use the same swearword as Alfonso, but a different construction. I would say "Salte de la carretera de una puta vez!". It's not a literal translation but sounds more Spanish to me. And I'm an expert... You should listen to me when I drive...

Agree with Gemma. Much more natural than my option. ;)
Great! |
Thank you both very much!
