Get off the bleeping road!

Hi. Nice to have found this place. I'm a writer with a scene set in Acapulco. There's a couple running down the middle of the road and someone shouts something like:

"Get off the f*ck*ng road!"

Could someone translate it to Spanish for me?

Thanks!

  • ¡Sal de la puta carretera! / ¡Fuera de la puta carretera!
... would be of the kind of the commonest expressions for that in Spanish from Spain.

Anyway, most of the times that in an English novel or movie appears the English expression ****ing whatever..., it's translated into Spanish by jodido lo que sea.

I don't think this is a good translation, as we don't use jodido as much as you use ****ing, and we often use it in very different contexts.

On the other hand, the adjective puto/a is as common in frequency and suitable in contexts as the English ****ing.

I would use the same swearword as Alfonso, but a different construction. I would say "Salte de la carretera de una puta vez!". It's not a literal translation but sounds more Spanish to me. And I'm an expert... You should listen to me when I drive...

Agree with Gemma. Much more natural than my option. ;)
Great!
