El resultado se salva con nota.
Does this mean things ended up well?

"el resultado" "se salva" "con nota" ( we have an outcome and its better as expected)
"the outcome" "is covered" "with note" An example: you have to made a hand-made cake for your son's birthday, and you're not an expert. If you are able to make a cake, then you solve the problem ("el resultado se salva"- the outcome is covered"-we have an outcome). But if your cake it's better as expected, it's" with a good note" or simple "with note" (con nota) So "el resultado se salva con nota" means that your cake it's not only enough for the task, but rather good. Saludos :D |
Exacto. Cuando haces un examen y dices que es "para nota" es que vas a sacar una buena nota, una nota alta, que te ha ido muy bien. El resultado "con nota" significa que es excelente :)

In Chile we used to "almost" win such or such game, but at the end, the game is won by scoring... We played better than them. We had the ball most of the game, but at the end they scored. :D

In fact, when you go to the school and any teacher apply you some test, he can tell you. Tu examen, tendra el resultado con notas y promedios. I hope you can understand me. |
So 'nota' can have the meaning of 'good marks' (good notes).
Can it also be used for saying 'to leave a note' or should 'anotición' be used then? How would you translate 'On that note' e.g. 'On that note he ran off to meet his friend at the station'? |
