Ya - todavía - aún
Hi every!!:)
I'd like to know the differences between ( ya, todavía , aún ,todavía no and aún no)! and which tenses do they come with?? thanks in advance!! |
Thread title changed to match the question.
ya (past) = already, yet "Ya fui a la tienda" - "I already went to the store" ya (present) = now, at once, immediately ya (interjection) ¡Ya! - That's right!, That's it!, Of course! todavía - still, yet "¿todavía tienes ese coche? - Do you still have that car? ; No llega todavía - He's not here yet. aún - still, yet (pretty synonymous with todavía) aun - even "aun los pobres" - "even the poor" |
All right thanks a lot , that clears everything.
so i guess (aún no and todavía no) act the same way!!they both mean ( not yet) !! |
¡Así es, Anoosh!
¡Bienvenida a los foros! (Dicho sea de paso.) :) |
