Are they interchangeable?

example: Se me da mejor hablar inglés que español.

Can you also say, se me hace mejor hablar inglés que español?

If so, do they have the same meaning.

Thank you. I'm surprised it doesn't take the subjunctive. I believe I have heard apenas llegar..., and I thought it may translate to, upon arriving. Perhaps it is a regionalism.

If it were just un grupo thense vio would be the correct verb to use. Because it was followed by 14 turistas, the verb tense had to change to third person plural.
