In English I will often say a phrase along the lines of...

It looks like you are doing well
OR
You appear to be doing well


Is there a Spanish equivalent? I've tried directly translating...

I have heard that as well both in Mexico (Guadalajara, Monterrey and the Yucatan) as well as the Dominican Republic. I can't recall if I have ever heard a native speaker in any of these places use...
