I think an educator can be a nurturer, but not necessarily. There may not be a direct translation, but the closest one I can think of is animador.

In English, casual usually means relaxed and informal. Can it mean this in Spanish? I'm under the impression that in Spanish it usually means by chance or serendipitous.
