How do you say "lap" in Spanish? Not lap around, say, a track, but the lap formed when one sits down.

I skipped freshman Spanish. My mom speaks Spanish almost natively, so I had a basic understanding of freshman-level Spanish. :D I just had my final today... wow... :eek:

Thanks! It's an Irish/Scottish name meaning "fair" as in beautiful, but I guess, at least for me, the "fair" also means white skin. To quote the movie "Waitress," 'I do have pasty, pasty skin!' :p
