Legalese doesn't have any negative connotations as far as I know. It's fairly neutral.

After reading Marsopa's thread (http://forums.tomisimo.org/showthread.php?t=1124) asking for a translation for a legal term, it occurs to me I don't know how to render the term legalese in Spanish. ...
