I keep thinking "voy a presentarme a él". However, isn't "him" the indirect object in this sentence, since the introduction is being made to/for him? Then that would be "voy a presentarleme", but...

Is it ever required to use gerunds?

In which instances is it required to use estar + gerund instead of the present tense in Spanish? As far as I know you can always use the present tense instead...is that so?

I don't understand how this means "let me see". I understand the meanings of the words, just not the word order.

Is "me" a direct object? If so, it should be before "deje", right?

Could somebody please clarify what the different meanings are?

Is "mi nuevo coche" a car you just got, whereas "mi coche Nuevo" is a brand new car?

I'll give a few more examples

"Periodical". The "e" is a long vowel. But the "I" sandwiched in between "d" and "c" is a short vowel. Why?

"Saturday"....

I know most of the vcv, cvcc rules, etc. but what about for words with more than one syllable?

For instance, in the word "desperation", the "a" is long. But why not the "e" in between "p" and "r"?...

I have heard both "no me gusto la musica" and "a mi no me gusto la musica". When do you use "a mi"? It seems redundant.

Which one means "just that"? I know that adjectives generally go after nouns so I would assume the correct one is "eso solo", but I believe I have heard "solo eso"

The personal "a" is not used with DO pronouns, right ?

So you say "Golpo a Juan" to say hit Juan

However, what about If Juan has already been mentioned in the preceding sentence. So if I were to refer to juan now as "him", wouldn't it be " lo golpo"?...
