I keep thinking "voy a presentarme a él". However, isn't "him" the indirect object in this sentence, since the introduction is being made to/for him? Then that would be "voy a presentarleme", but...

Is it ever required to use gerunds?
In which instances is it required to use estar + gerund instead of the present tense in Spanish? As far as I know you can always use the present tense instead...is that so?

I don't understand how this means "let me see". I understand the meanings of the words, just not the word order.
Is "me" a direct object? If so, it should be before "deje", right?

"Periodical". The "e" is a long vowel. But the "I" sandwiched in between "d" and "c" is a short vowel. Why?

I have heard both "no me gusto la musica" and "a mi no me gusto la musica". When do you use "a mi"? It seems redundant.

"Eso solo" o "solo eso"?
Which one means "just that"? I know that adjectives generally go after nouns so I would assume the correct one is "eso solo", but I believe I have heard "solo eso"
