A question for the people from Valencia, Spain or anyone who knows
about the Valencian language.
My brother-in-law's father was from Valencia, Spain and spoke
Castilian and Valencian. He told us the interesting story
that when he arrived on the east coast of the U.S. he got
a job in an Italian restaurant working with Italian speakers
from Italy and could speak with them.
They said, look, a long lost cousin.
My question is for someone who speaks Valencian or
knows about it.
What is the difference between Valencian and Catalan?
Are they dialects or different languages?
