Era un chiste (It was a joke). Most people don't know how to write in Spanish before they buy, or the same day that they buy, Spanish courses and books.

El signo de apertura de interrogación (¿) se hace por escogerlo del menú desplegable 'Acento' que se encuentra en la parte superior de la ventana de respuestas.

The opening question mark (¿) is made by selecting it on the 'Accents' drop-down menu that is found in the upper portion of the reply window.
(In the same menu you'll find all the other stuff you'll need to write perfectly.)
