*"Escritores" is only used for professional writers. And those obviously don't make spelling mistakes.

SMS language has created its own abbreviations in every tongue. In spanish many people started replacing "qu" with "k". The original shortened form of "que" was "ke", but lately people use only "k", even though it doesn't even have the same sound.
