The last two sentences should be
gracias por él or
gracias por ella. Here, we're dealing with another part of speech - a prepositional phrase. The preposition is
por and its object is
el artículo or
la corrección. If we want to use a pronoun for the object of a preposition, it must be either
él or
ella.
