The book I recommended does much the same thing, I think.
It introduces all the concepts up front and then gives models (501 common verbs). It also lists another +1000 verbs that conjugate the same way as the models given. It provides sample sentences for each of the common verbs, with an English translation.
The book is written in English.
The Larousse book is written in Spanish (at least the one you linked to). It looks good, from what I saw of it online, but a beginner might struggle with having to read Spanish to learn how to conjugate the verbs. Is there an English version?
