Now I have a question. I know these sentences have very different meaning.
Lo compré por ti.Does this mean, because of you I bought it?
Lo compré para ti.I know this means, I bought this (as a gift) for you.
Lo compré por ti.
I bought it on your behalf (I did it for you because you weren't able to, or because you asked me to do it).

por mi (by me)
por mi parte (as for me)
de mi parte (as far as I'm concerned)
Does para que take the subjunctive? Yes, always.
