Many English-speaking students of Spanish overuse the present progressive tense (estoy usando, estoy escribiendo, estoy viendo, etc.). In Spanish, this tense expresses an action that is
currently in process. If you convert your sentences to the present tense instead, they'll translate back into English just fine.
