Le siguió y la puerta (missing an object pronoun) dirigió (there's another verb that is much more common) a un cuarto grande.
Estaba sorprendido de ver que el hombre viejo se sentía (wrong verb used, with the ending you chose) en el centro del cuarto y luz de las llamas de fuego en una esquina cayeron (subject/verb agreement) en su cara. Era un sacerdote y no estaba sorprendido de verle (wrong object pronoun used).
Le dijo – ¡finalmente estas aquí! Sabía que vendrías.
Se pareció (it seemed to him) como si este hombre extraño (object pronoun needed) estaba esperando por el.
