stewardship. Butlers and stewards are both servants charged with running their master's affairs, although butler has more connotations of running the house and steward of administrating the land.
If you want to look at the Greek behind New Testament usage, it's οἰκονομία, which is literally butlership (from οἰκος, house, and νόμος, law), although the meaning had broadened to also cover administration of land...
