Más importante: pienso que me equivocaba equivoqué cuando conjugar conjugué el verbo HABER. No sé si debo usarlo cuando queiro quiero esciber escribir en el pretérito.

Las bombas hubieron caido --> This is long in the past, and it's not very used.
Las bombas han caido --> Some bombs have fallen, but you're expecting more to come. For "the bombs fell" you can simply say "las bombas cayeron".

About chileno's "habían caído", intention would be something like "the bombs had fallen... when...."
