"Olvidar" is to forget. It makes no sense to ask for a telephone number when it's been forgotten.

Una última pregunta, ¿por qué usas el imperfectivo imperfecto (quisiera/fuera)? Aprendí que el imperfectivo imperfecto es un tiempo pasado.

It's called "pretérito imperfecto" but it doesn't express a past tense when used in a conditional sentence.

Si "quieras" escucharme, te darías cuenta de que no soy culpable. Es incorrecto, ¿pero no sé por qué?

I will let someone else with more technical knowledge to answer this, but this kind of conditional must use "pretérito imperfecto".

Gracias de nuevo

Some examples of subjunctive in present tense:

Te doy lo que quieras si me das el teléfono de Naomi.
I'll give you what you want, if you give me Naomi's phone number.

El perro correrá hasta que se dé cuenta de que el hombre sólo quiere darle agua.
The dog will run until it realizes the man only wants to give it water.

No voy a perdonarlo aunque se disculpe por lo que hizo.
I won't forgive him even if he apologizes for what he did.

Trajeron comida para que no muramos de hambre.
They brought food so we won't die of hunger.
