Lee Ying - "snore" is a verb in English. If you want to use the construction "I am..." you would have to say something like "I am snoring..." But that would only be if you were snoring right at this very moment. (Which would mean that you're not typing on Tomisimo at this very moment...)

*I snore. (Something that I do regularly.)
*I am snoring. (Right this very moment, I am asleep and snoring.)
*I am hoarse because I have a sore throat.
