In my own opinion the tan word into the Spanish for say a address so long or sometimes the address are distances very far way and it's not very closer of you.

Then in my example I'll use the tan word likes an example very simple.

Luis.

Que tan lejos queda tu casa.

Luis.
How far away is your house?

No lo sé Luis

Supongo que esta tan solo a 3 kilometros de aquí.

I don't know it Luis.

I suppose it is only to 3 Kilometers from here.

I hope those example can help you.

Sincerely yours.
