I agree, much "children's" programming is still too fast paced. It often has voices that are too cute for adults to understand, distracting sound effects, etc.
I alternate between vocabulary practice on YouTube and short stories. There is more free material to work with than I have time to use.
Been listening/reading to these stories lately. I'm still at the "Cuentos 1" level, supposedly for children under 5. Ha.
