I'm trying to say "take it out" in the context of taking a scene out of a screenplay. I translated it as "eliminarlo" while Google translates it as "sacarlo".
Most the examples I've seen for "sacarlo" refer to physical objects.

Is it correct to use "sacarlo" in reference to something intangible?
