There are two kinds of keyboard for typing in Spanish: Spanish, and Latin American and both are mostly the same as English one with small differences:
Both have letter Ñ next to the L, so it's only one key to type it.
The Spanish one has the accent (´) next to the Ñ, and the Latin American one has it next to the P.
The umlaut (¨) for both is shift + ´
For the accented letters to appear, you only need to type the accent (nothing will change) and then the letter (the letter will appear with the accent).
