OK here's the joke: Maria Jose was talking about soles as in
planta del pie. Sole of the foot is a homonyn for sole the fish as in fillet of sole.
María José mentioned in a pun how she liked sole prepared preferably by
someone else. I mentioned in a pun that I preferred lenguado(the Spanish
word for sole--the fish) over plantilla (a possible translation for the sole of the foot and a definite translation for insoles which would make a horrible
meal I assume)
