Este es mi primer mensaje, no es un reply, pero esta es la cajilla que abrió.
Estoy traduciendo el Ramayana (de la India, versión en inglés) al español; y voy a necesitar ayuda.
También me interesa mucho leer los comentarios de personas de los 22, o más, países donde esta lengua es el idioma oficial. Alguién nos puede aclarar cuál es la diferencia entre el español y el castellano en el año 2008, aparte de la diferencia en acentos (si no me equivoco, Castilla y España son diferentes territorios.. pero el castellano y el español son como dos palabras para la misma agua, ¿no?)

This is my first posted message, (it is not a reply, this is the box that opened).
At the present I am translating the Ramayana into Spanish (from India, source language English); and I´m going to need your help.
I´m also interested in listening/reading this lovely communication from others in the 22, or more, countries where Spanish is the official language.
Can someone please clarify the difference, in usage and meaning, between Spanish and Castillian, apart from the difference in accents? Especially in the year 2008.
(Castilla and España is easier to see the difference in the map... but isn´t castellano and español like two different words for the same water. pls correct me if i´m wrong?)
