Esta manera de estudiar se debe, según parece, a que el profesor le da al estudiante casi todo digerido y esto es casi exclusivamente lo que uno tiene que saber para los exámenes.

Can I tell you my interpretation of the sentence:
"This way of studying is due to, apparently, a professor that gave to the class almost all digested, and this is almost all you have to know for the exams."
Obviously this sentence above doesn't make sense so if you could point out where I went wrong that would be a huge help. Specifically I have the following questions:
1. Is segun parece = apparently?
2. I'm not sure what 'digerido' is meaning in this context
Basically I'm not sure what is being said from 'a professor' through to 'digerido'.
