Question When making Spanish-English translations, should I write Universidad or University?

Good day,

I´m translating from Spanish to English a book on biographies of famous scientist. All of them have studied at different universities around the world. If one of the scientist studied at "Universidad de Caracas", should I write "he studied at University of Caracas" or "he studied at Universidad de Caracas" ? I appreciate your help.
